VKP’s Partner Alexander Borodkin spoke on the panel of the VI International Conference "Doing agribusiness in Ukraine: perspectives for 2015", which was held in Kyiv on December 4, 2014. The event was organized by the Association Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) and “AgriEvent” agency with the support of the British Embassy in Ukraine and the German-Ukrainian Agro-political Dialogue Project. Vasil Kisil & Partners law firm has traditionally acted as a general partner of this legal forum. VKP’s counsellor Volodymyr Igonin also took part in the event.
Alexander commented, in particular, the reform package, offered by the newly formed government, and noted that the time-table for their implementation is rather encouraging.
Hot topics for domestic agribusiness discussed at this gathering included 2015 outlook, the competitiveness and profitability of the agricultural production in Ukraine, and the opening of new foreign markets for Ukrainian agribusiness.
The event was designed to help Ukrainian agribusiness outline its prospects for 2015; it was attended by over 300 representatives of agricultural companies and holdings, resource companies, consulting and law firms.
