Four years in a row Best Lawyers recommends VKP's practitioners for their individual achievements. In 2012, Best Lawyers included senior partner of the firm Vasil Kisil (corporate law, investments, litigation), managing partner Oleg Makarov (arbitration and mediation, investments, litigation, real estate, taxation), partner Oleg Alyoshin (arbitration and mediation, construction, real estate, litigation), partner Oleksiy Filatov (litigation, corporate law), partner Denis Lysenko (antitrust law, corporate law, investments, mergers and acquisitions), senior adviser Vadim Belyanevych (arbitration and mediation, litigation), partner Mariya Nizhnik (antitrust law), partner Alexander Borodkin (real estate), partner Oksana Voynarovska (labour and employment) and advisor Natalia Dotsenko-Belous (real estate) in its recommended practitioners list.

Best Lawyers 2012 also named firm's counsellor Natalia Dotsenko-Belous "Kyiv Lawyer of the Year" in real estate. This recognition is awarded to Natalia on the basis of high ratings she received in the survey completed by fellow lawyers. The title "Lawyer of the Year" is awarded to the most sought-after specialist in major jurisdictions, including - in the Ukrainian capital. Only one lawyer can be awarded "Lawyer of the Year" in each jurisdiction.
