Monday 22nd, September 2008 Hot Topics in International Arbitration 2008 seminar under the auspices of SJ Berwin law firm took place in London.
This annual forum is meant to explore most relevant issues for this practice area, including the use of third party funding in international arbitration; developments in interim remedies in aid of international arbitration; and fraud in international arbitration. This year over 150 English lawyers who specialize in the international dispute resolution and work for leading London law firms attended the event.
Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk, Head of Vasil Kisil & Partners’ International Arbitration Practice was among pre-eminent practitioners from different countries and the independent bar who provided an insight into topics currently on the top of the International Arbitrations agenda. Mrs. Slipachuk’s presentation was dedicated to current problems and trends in international arbitration practice evolution. The seminar was chaired by Alan Redfern, a leading authority on international commercial arbitration and co-author of “Law and Practice of International Commercial Arbitration.”
