Oksana Voynarovska and Valeriya Savchuk Join Working Group on Draft Labour Code

Oksana Voynarovska, Partner at Vasil Kisil & Partners, and Valeriya Savchuk, Associate, have become members of the Working Group finalizing the Draft Labour Code for the second reading. The Working Group was established at the Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament. 

Oksana Voynarovska, Head of the Labour and Employment Practice Group, has an extensive practical experience in labour law issues, including drafting employment contracts for top management, legal support in dismissal of personnel, preparation and negotiation of collective bargaining labour agreements, etc. For many years Mrs. Voynarovska has been advising on reconciling the international corporate employment standards with the complex and sophisticated Ukrainian labour legislation and representing the clients’ interests in courts in the context of labour disputes. 

Mrs. Voynarovska is an exclusive representative in Ukraine of Ius Laboris, the largest global alliance of leading labour law firms, uniting the lawyers from around 50 countries worldwide. In addition, Oksana is a Deputy Head of the Labour Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA). 

Oksana Voynarovska has been recognized by the international legal directories and Ukrainian legal editions such as Who’s Who Legal, Chambers Europe, Best Lawyers, Ukrainian Law Firms. In 2016, Oksana was named as one of the most influential women in the legal profession according to the Ukrainian Women in Law Survey conducted by the Yurydychna Gazeta Weekly. 

Valeriya Savchuk, Associate of the Labour and Employment Practice Group at Vasil Kisil & Partners, specializes in labour law issues of both conflicting (resolution of labor disputes associated with dismissals and reductions) and non-conflicting nature (execution of employment agreements with top managers, employment of foreign nationals), etc. Valeriya is a member of the Board of the HR Committee of the European Business Association and a member of the Board of the Committee on Labour Law of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
