Oleg Alyoshin recognized as the Best Real Estate Lawyer of 2009

On June 5, 2009, Ukraine’s legal elite gathered at Hyatt Regency Kiev for the grand event of the year – the Legal Award Ceremony “Yuridicheskaya premia 2009” organized by “The Yuridicheskaya Practika” newspaper . The purpose of the Awards was to recognize those legal professionals (both companies and individuals) who have demonstrated the most distinguished achievements in various fields of law practice.
This year The Best Real Estate Lawyer Award went to Oleg Alyoshin whose leadership as the Head of Vasil Kisil & Partners Real Estate & Construction Practice during what undoubtedly was one of the hardest years for this sector received high acclaim from both legal and business community. Elected Chair of the European Business Association Real Estate Committee in December of 2008 Mr. Alyoshin has made notable efforts to introduce effective legal mechanism that would create more favorable conditions for developers’ activities on the Ukrainian real estate market. In his acceptance speech, Mr. Alyoshin thanked his colleagues’ hard work and team spirit and added the following: “Now it is particularly important to promote awareness of the complexity of the situation with real estate development and construction in Ukraine and make sure that the public and private sectors work together on improving it.”
