Oleg Makarov awarded for Outstanding Professional Achievements

On June 5, 2009, Ukraine’s legal elite gathered at Hyatt Regency Kiev for the grand event of the year – the Legal Award Ceremony “Yuridicheskaya premia 2009” organized by “The Yuridicheskaya Practika” newspaper . The purpose of the Awards was to recognize those legal professionals (both companies and individuals) who have demonstrated the most distinguished achievements in various fields of law practice.
As the Third Annual Legal Awards Ceremony unraveled its winners it became clear why Vasil Kisil & Partners scooped the coveted Law Firm of the Year award second year in a row. With eight nominations (from the total of 22 categories) this year the firm lead by its legendary Managing Partner Oleg Makarov captured 6 awards – a result no other legal team came close to and a strong evidence of its full service capacity and its leadership in Ukraine. Oleg Makarov was also individually recognized with the Editor’s Choice Award “For outstanding professional achievements.”
