Tatyana Slipachuk, FCIArb, unravels the nuances of proof and proving in international arbitration to the attendees of EuroLawyer 2009

On April 2-3, 2009 the second EuroLawyer 2009 legal forum was held in London. This year the forum was attended by leading legal professionals, representatives of public authorities and heads of large international companies who discussed the first priority legal issues most relevant for CIS and EU countries in this challenging and volatile financial situation.
Attendees focused on such topics as M&A evolution, recent antitrust trends of CIS and EU countries, financing methods applicable amid ongoing financial uncertainty, and of course - the impact of economic crisis upon commercial disputes, etc.
Vasil Kisil & Partners law firm was represented by Partner Tetyana Slipachuk, FCIArb and Senior Associate Mariya Nizhnik. Ms. Slipachuk delivered a speech entitled "International Arbitration: Proof and Proving". Apart from top law firms’ representatives conference participants from Ukraine included O. Melnychenko, Acting Head of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, O. Savchenko, Deputy Head of the National Bank of Ukraine, and V. Bogatyr, Deputy Minister of Ukrainian Ministry of Justice.
