10/06/2026
Ivan Yavnych and Yulia Adamovych, Senior Associates in our International Arbitration practice, are among the founding members of Ukraine VYAP (Very Young Arbitration Practitioners) – established together with fellow arbitration practitioners from across the Ukrainian legal community – part of the Global VYAP Network that now reaches more than 30 countries.
Ukraine VYAP’s mission is to empower young arbitration professionals in Ukraine through mentorship, professional development, enhanced networking and global collaboration, and to bridge Ukrainian talent with the international arbitration community.
"The arbitration market in Ukraine is growing rapidly. The market’s growth naturally creates demand for more specialized organizations—and we want to meet this demand by offering not only professional growth and networking opportunities, but also the opportunity to become part of the global arbitration community,” said founders Ivan Yavnych and Yulia Adamovych.
On 25 June 2026, the Ukraine VYAP Launch Event takes place, featuring a panel discussion and a networking reception. The panel will explore a timely theme: "Interim Measures, Arbitrator Challenges, Personal Liability: How Russia is Testing the Limits of International Arbitration".
The discussion will examine recent developments in arbitration against the backdrop of today's geopolitical realities – including anti-arbitration and anti-suit injunctions, trends and practices in arbitrator challenges, and various pressure tactics – and what these mean in practice for the arbitration community.
The event is to be held in Kyiv. We encourage those interested in international arbitration to register and join the event. To register and stay up to date on this and future events, follow Ukraine VYAP`s LinkedIn.
