Vasil Kisil & Partners successfully represented TK-Logistic LLC in a dispute against JSC Ukrainian Railways over the tariff for the railway carriage of wagons

Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm represented the interests of TK-Logistic LLC in a commercial dispute against JSC Ukrainian Railways over the recovery of nearly UAH 3 million.  

Ukrainian Railways provided services for TK-Logistic, that have been paid in full. Later, Ukrainian Railways revised a tariff and initiated a dispute against TK-Logistic over the debt. 

The case was considered by commercial courts for several times and sent back for re-examination. The Supreme Court brought finality to the case and agreed with the previous courts conclusions regarding the claimant's unjustified application of the Tariff policy of the railways of the CIS member States on the transport of goods in international traffic and artificial increase in freight tariff.  

During the consideration of the case, Vasyl Kisil and Partners’ lawyers managed to prove the absence of grounds for debt collection and to reimburse on the expenses of JSC Ukrainian Railways the cost of legal aid in the amount of UAH 280 000,00.
