Vasil Kisil and Partners strengthens its positions in The Chambers Europe 2008 law firm rankings

Vasil Kisil & Partners has secured the top tier rankings among the best Ukrainian law firms according to the annual research conducted by Chambers Europe.
The just released 2008 edition awards Vasil Kisil & Partners top ranking in three of the five practice areas it features, including Dispute Resolution, Corporate/Commercial and Real Estate.
Chambers Europe provides rankings and recommendations to European law firms, examining their legal ability, professional conduct, commercial awareness, diligence, and commitment to the client on a national and regional basis. Selections were based on thousands of in-depth interviews with clients who were asked to assess the reputations and expertise of business lawyers across Europe.
Firms' Senior Partner Vasil Kisil was described by interviewers as "the master - most of the top Ukrainian lawyers were thought by him and he is still the leading authority". Oleg Makarov, Vadym Belyanevych and Oleksiy Filatov were praised as "stellar" and "superior litigators", while Oleksandr Khomenko received special mention as an "up-and-coming partner" with a "co-operative and constrictive approach to getting the deal done".
