Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Alexander Mamunya becomes an official expert of the Ukrainian Internet Association Legal Committee

On March 26, 2009, the regular board meeting of the Ukrainian Internet Association elected Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Senior Associate Alexander Mamunya to be the official expert of the association’s Legal Committee. This committee features such leaders of Ukrainian internet and telecommunication market as Golden Telecom, UMC (Ukrainian Mobile Communications), Datagroup, "Ukrainian High Technologies" (Alternet), «Top NET», “Inpracom” (Ukrainian Telesystems, PeopleNET), “Volia cable”, as well as a representative of the “CMS Cameron McKenna LLP” law firm.
In close collaboration with Verhovna Rada of Ukraine (the Supreme Council of Ukraine) committees and other Ukrainian and international organizations, the Ukrainian Internet Association is actively engaged in collective advocacy of members' interests within central and local authorities of Ukraine via developing and amending the Ukrainian legislative and regulatory base.
