On December 25, 2015 Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm announced expansion of its management team. Its Senior Associate Vladyslav Podolyak was promoted to Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property Practice.

Vladyslav Podolyak specializes in intellectual property law and personal data protection. He has extensive experience of successfully representing domestic and foreign clients in disputes related to consumer rights protection and advising clients on the procedure of personal data processing. Over the past years, Vladyslav has successfully provided legal support for projects in the fields of consumer goods, banking services, Internet services, the automotive industry, etc.

Mr Podolyak participated in projects involving recognition of trademarks as well known and represented clients in courts in the context of infringements of intellectual property rights by manufacturers of counterfeit products. He actively develops the firm’s practice in the field of protection of copyright to works of art, choreographic works, movies, computer programs. He also provides legal support for projects involving protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet.

Vladyslav Podolyak is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the largest and most comprehensive global privacy community uniting 20,000 professionals from 83 countries who assist companies in personal data management and protection.

Vladyslav is also a member of International Trademark Association (INTA), uniting over 30,000 professionals from 190 countries.
