VKP Earns High Placement in Chambers and Partners Rankings

Chambers and Partners, an internationally-recognized annual directory, has identified the leading law firms and lawyers in Dispute Resolution and Corporate/Commercial practices for 2011.
The publication ranked Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm as a leading Ukrainian firm in Dispute Resolution (Band 1) praising Oleksiy Filatov, the Head of Litigation Practice, who is referred to by independent sources as "a very talented and pragmatic lawyer". Chambers particularly emphasized his recent cross-border work that included representing Swedish banking group Swedbank in a USD100 million dispute regarding outstanding receivables and mortgages.
Furthermore, interviewees’ champion Oleg Makarov, VKP`s Managing Partner, was called "a guiding light at the firm".
