DuPont Pioneer - advising on construction of seed production facility in Ukraine

On 11 June 2013 DuPont Pioneer Ukraine has officially opened its new seed production facility in Stasi village, Dykanka district, Poltava region, Ukraine. The USD 40 million production facility is operational in time for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, supporting the increased customer demand for Pioneer® brand maize, sunflower and oilseed rape hybrids in Ukraine.

Vasil Kisil & Partners act as sole legal advisors on the project and represent Pioneer in all matters, starting from land acquisition and rezoning and covering all sorts of regulatory and compliance advice in land and construction matters, instituting contractual relations with designers, contractors and suppliers, drafting project-related documents and agreements and conducting relevant negotiations, etc. VKP team also contributed much in negotiating and arranging with local authorities and public companies for development of local infrastructure, including access road, and necessary utilities for the site.
