Marubeni Corporation - advising on trade finance matters

Vasil Kisil & Partners acted as a legal advisor to Marubeni Corporation, one of Japan’s major integrated conglomerates, on trade finance matters.

VKP lawyers advised the client on Ukrainian law matters relating to elaboration of FCR-based trade finance solutions and establishment of security under grains supply contract with a Ukrainian leading grain supplier. In addition to FCR instruments the scope of work also included drafting and negotiating the security agreement (i.e. pledge over goods in turnover) and forwarding agreement.
