Vasil Kisil & Partners team acted as legal advisor in Ukraine in a cross-jurisdictional team of law firms covering eight European jurisdictions coordinating simultaneous redundancy in local subsidiaries of the software company.

VKP advised the client regarding complex issues of collective redundancy exercise in Ukraine including the timing of the information/consultation procedures, veto of the dismissals by any party involved, redundancy selection in particular evaluation of employees' pre-emptive rights by law to retain job, redundancy severance payment etc. The advice covered full structuring of the redundancy process, preparation of the necessary documents as well as conducting negotiations with redundant employees.
