II Pan-Ukrainian Arbitrators’ Congress elects Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Senior Counselor Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk Vice-Chairman of the Ukrainian Chamber of Arbitration

The Second Pan-Ukrainian Arbitrators’ Congress took place in Kyiv on October 31, 2008. 73 delegates participated in the event which this year had the following on its agenda: the evaluation of the Ukrainian Chamber of Arbitration (UCA) activity and prospects of development for the arbitration legal procedure.
The Ukrainian Chamber of Arbitration plays an important role in the self-government of the arbitration in the country. It is authorized to represent and protect social and professional rights and interests of arbitrators and courts of arbitration, to conduct methodological and publishing work, to analyze practical arbitration law enforcement and to complete other tasks set out by the Pan-Ukrainian Arbitrators’ Congress.
The Pan-Ukrainian Arbitrators’ Congress elects members and chair of the Chamber for a 3-year term. This year Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Senior Counselor and Head of International Arbitration Practice Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk was elected Vice-Chairman of the Ukrainian Chamber of Arbitration.
