Students League’s Leaders Camp spends an afternoon at Vasil Kisil & Partners

December 5 – 6, 2008, the pan-Ukrainian leaders camp LAW STUDENT was held in Kyiv for members of the UBA Students League to give an opportunity to about 40 law students from all over Ukraine to visit the supreme governmental authorities of Ukraine and talk to the leading domestic lawyers.
The students were given on the very first day of the event with a unique opportunity to visit Vasil Kisil & Partners, the general partner of events held by the UBA Students League. Mr. Vasil I. Kisil, the senior partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners, was the first to greet the students and wish them to find their place in the jurisprudence.
Mr. Oleg A. Makarov, the managing partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners, also addressed the students with words of greeting making a retrospect to the establishment of the firm and introducing its core practices.
The senior associate Mrs. Oksana Voynarovska reported on potential employment and internship with the firm. After all words of greeting and presentations, the senior associates Anna Babych, Natalya Mykolska, Andriy Stelmashchuk and Mykhaylo Parapan escorted the students through departments of the firm giving all details on the specifics of each such department.
As it was exactly pointed out by the students from the camp, such events were to motivate immensely and guide a student and facilitate understanding the field of the future practice. Vasil Kisil & Partners will, in turn, continue to support law events arranged for students since participation of the firm in such projects is not only to contribute to the comprehensive education of the best law students of Ukraine to all aspect of the legal profession, but rather to assist students to find the future area of expertise in the profession as well.
