Vasil Kisil & Partners advise on sale of Kyiv Silk Weaving Mill

In November 2019 the transfer of indirect control over Private Joint Stock Company "Kyiv Silk Weaving Mill" was consummated. The enterprise is no more active in silk weaving, however, it is the tenant of land plots with a total area of 3,4 ha and the owner of real estate items of total area of over 16,000 sq. m. in Podil district of Kyiv. It might be of interest as brownfield development site in a prestige location.

Vasil Kisil & Partners acted as a sole legal advisor to the seller party on all matters of the transaction, including advice on the transaction structuring, review and negotiation of shares purchase agreement and other relevant documents. Vasil Kisil & Partners also acted as an escrow agent for the parties to secure smooth transfer of shares against payment of consideration.

The Silk Mill was established in 1946, and it specialized in the production of fabrics made of 100% natural silk.
